(Margaret) Dorothy Rogan
On March 26, 2016, (Margaret) Dorothy Rogan passed away peacefully at her home in Boynton Beach, FL surrounded by her loving family.
Dorothy was born on December 31, 1919 in Lawrenceville City (Pittsburgh, PA), the daughter of the late Harvey and Margaret Long. She wed her beloved husband Charles l. Rogan on April 25, 1942, who preceded her in death on May 22, 2000.
Dorothy, formerly of Homewood and Mt. Lebanon, PA relocated to Boynton Beach, FL with her husband in 1997. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Homewood, St. Bernard Church, Mt. Lebanon and St. Mark Church, Boynton Beach.
Her life was devoted to her family and Catholic faith. After raising nine children, Dorothy took time to travel the US and abroad. She was a talented seamstress and always stayed mentally sharp by playing bridge and pinochle.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Conlon Long and eldest child, Thomas F. Rogan.

Lebanon, PA; daughter-in-law Mary Rogan, Salt Lake City, UT; nieces Virginia Ross (Donald), Karen Markshausen (Kurt), and Kerry Kuhlow; grandchildren Samuel Rogan (Keiko), Shena Salvato (Robert), Dessa Chittester (Scott), Daura Driscoll (Jamal Diboun), Denee Wolf (Ryan), Lindsey, Caitlin, and Connor Bahr, Charles Schmitt, Jonathan and Elizabeth Rogan, Edward, Sarah Ann, James Jr., and Catherine Rogan; great-grandchildren, Eric and Luke Rogan, Lydia, Makana, Amani, and Tulsi Diboun, Natalia Chittester, Nimah and Alden Salvato, Everett and Oliver Wolf; several great nieces and great nephews.
Visitations and prayers will be held on April 8, 2016 at Laughlin Funeral Home in Mt. Lebanon from 5-9 PM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held April 9, 2016 at 10:00 AM St. Bernard Church, Mt. Lebanon with interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township, PA.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at a later date at St. Mark Church, Boynton Beach, FL.
