LUCILLE FRANCES KULBEDA

nee PRAZZA

Lucille Frances Kulbeda, née Prazza, the daughter of Giuseppe and Marie Prazza, nee Gilberto was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 21, 1939.

She came from a Sicilian family who immigrated to America in the late 1800s. She is predeceased by her brother Carmelo and twin sisters who were born deceased.

Lucille had a love of music and dancing and her heart was in her home, where she gathered her family and friends together for traditional Italian food, joy and laughter.

Lucille passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her children, Mark Higgs, (Loredana) , Michael Higgs (Christine) and her grandchildren, Nicolo (Melissa), Cristina (Westley), and Jeremy (Lia).

Predeceased by her grandson Michael. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Ariana, Nicolo, Rosabella, Rosalie, Giovanni, William, Vincenzo, and Rocco.

The Celebration of Lucille's life that was previously announced unfortunately has been cancelled. The family will have private services in Chicago, Illinois at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or you can plant a tree in Lucille's memory.
