Louise Beverly Elmauer

Louise Elmauer, age 92, was born in Suffield, Ohio, the only child of Theresa and John Schneider.

Louise was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church from Baptism through Marriage. She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Grade School and Suffield High School.

Louise met her husband, Joseph Elmauer, in March of 1950 after his arrival in December of 1949 from Hungary where he was born. They met at a German dance club that she had attended with her parents from a very early age. She was an excellent dancer of all German and Hungarian music.

Louise and Joe were engaged on her 17th birthday and married on July 14, 1951. Their first child, James Michael, was born and died on November 2, 1952. Their second child, Mary Terese, was born and died on January 9, 1954. In November of 1956, Louise and Joe were blessed with twin girls, Linda Catherine and Lorie Theresa.

Louise and her family moved to Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida in September of 1967.

Louise is survived by her daughters, Linda (Dean deceased) Fleming, Lorie (Robert) Clinger; grandchildren, Julie (Russell) Hopkinson, Joseph (Amanda) Fleming, Christina (Greg) Qualls; and great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Titus, and Anaya Hopkinson, Zara Rae Fleming, Haleigh and Alexis Qualls.

There will be no viewing. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 N.E. 4th Ave., Boynton Beach, Florida.

Louise will be laid to rest at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Randolph, Ohio beside her husband, their two children, parents, grandparents and her Aunt Julia and Uncle Robert Mencer.
