Linda Kay Newkirk (nee Hamilton) of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away at home on April 14, 2024.
Born November 27, 1950 in Newport News, Virginia, she attended Warwick High School and graduated as one of the younger students in her class at the age of sixteen. One of her favorite subjects in school was History, and she considered being a history teacher at one time during these years. She became an insurance claims examiner at Aegon in Malvern, Pennsylvania until she retired in 2006.
Linda enjoyed playing volleyball, camping, and going to the beach; whether it was Rehoboth Beach in Delaware, or any of Florida's own. She was also an avid collector of classic Coca-Cola memorabilia, in addition to being a faithful Philadelphia Eagles fan. Above all, she spoiled her pet dogs throughout her adult life.
She is survived by her daughter Shannon, her brother Gary Hamilton, her sister Jeanne Monte, and her niece Alexandra Monte. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert R. Newkirk.
