Linda Elliott, 70 Linda E. Elliott, died suddenly on January 1, 2013 at her home in Boynton Beach, FL. Linda was born in Chicago March 25, 1942, the daughter of Frank (Chan) Shedelbower and Hester Miller. Linda was very active in the Boy and Girl Scouts for many years. She enjoyed teaching children service to God and community. Linda was a devout Catholic and loved serving her church in many capacities through out her life including being the chairman of the Women?s Committee for the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago for numerous years. Volunteering and helping others was her calling. Linda thoroughly enjoyed an active outdoor life style of camping, hiking, canoeing, and whitewater rafting. Her favorite time was spent with loved ones at her family?s home on the lake in Michigan. Being a wonderful Nana to her grandsons was her most recent passion. In 1964 Linda married the love of her life Harold (Bill) Elliott. They lived in the Chicagoland area for over 30 years. In addition to taking care of her family, she also helped with the family business. Linda is survived by her loving husband Bill Elliott; daughter Debbie Elliott-Conger and husband Andy; two adoring grandchildren Kyle and Ryan Conger; her brother Cy Shedelbower; and numerous loving relatives and close friends. The Funeral Mass will take place 10:00am, Thursday 1/10/13 at St. Mark Catholic Church 643 NE 4th Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. The internment will be later in Michigan.
