Mr. Leonard Michael Thomas (“Lenny”), of Laurel Springs, NJ, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the age of 44.

Lenny was born to parents John Thomas and Ellen Cawthray on July 26, 1972 in Princeton, NJ. He was the eldest of two sons and a 1990 graduate of Lawrence High School. Lenny briefly attended Mercer County Community College before embarking on a creative career that took him around the world. Lenny gained a great following playing the drums in popular bands such as Trashlight Vision and Sorry & The Sinatras. Lenny has been received on countless stages in countries such as England, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and the good old USA. Lenny was enormously talented and his artistry was very well respected in the music community.

Lenny is survived by his beloved daughter, Krystyna K. Redmond, who he was incredibly proud of; his wife Alison Christiano-Thomas; his brother Michael Thomas; his stepmother Harriett Leder; his mother and step-father, Ellen and John Cawthray; his aunt and uncle, Rose and Robert Parcels; along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins who he adored. Lenny is preceded in death by his father John Thomas and his grandparents Theresa and Leonard Thomas.

A memorial mass will be held at St Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Princeton, NJ at 9:00am on November 5, 2016 and all are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lenny’s honor to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation 200 S. Park Road, Suite 100 Hollywood, FL 33021.
