LEE F. WARCHOL
Lee F. Warchol of Lantana, FL passed away on Feb. 10, 2014.
He is survived by his beloved wife Bernice, with whom he was married for 67 years. He is also survived by his children, Lee J., Daniel & Sara, Anne, James & Carmen, 8 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Warchol was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Judith.
Mr. Warchol was a Mechanical Contractor and part owner of H. J. Brandeles Corp. of Utica, NY. He served on the Board of Directors of AAA in Utica & was also active in Utica Rotary.
Mr. Warchol was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps & served his country well in campaigns in the Marshall Islands & Saipan in World War II. He was severely wounded on Iwo Jima & received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Thursday, Feb. 13th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1000 Lantana Road, Lantana. A Committal Service with Military Honors will follow at the South Florida National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the Wounded Warriors Project.
