Born July 11, 1941 in Central City, Iowa.
Lee and Kathleen Stone were married for 57 years. He resided in Minnesota, Florida and North Carolina. They returned to Florida after Lee retired from IBM after 30 years of employment. Lee graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida in 1980; passing the CPA Exam. In addition to IBM, Lee worked as a flight instructor, realtor and in security.
Lee was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife, Kathleen, children and grandchildren. Lee and Kay traveled extensively with family and internationally. He enjoyed traveling with his grandchildren on many adventures, sports tournaments, college moves and family trips. He enjoyed the years he spent on the Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary. He was never a man to sit still and had many hobbies and interests. These memories and moments will be treasured forever.
His family and friends lovingly remember Lee. He is survived by his wife; Kathleen Stone; children, Chris Stone (Regina) and Lisa Greenwood (William) and his granddaughters, Paige Greenwood, Jamie Greenwood and Kayla. Family members Phil and Dianne French, nieces and nephew. Son John Stone precedes him in death.
