LEE E. NEWTON
Age 85 of Boynton Beach passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
Lee was born in Freeport, Long Island, New York to the late Eric Newton and Martha Corbett Newton. While living on Long Island, he was the former owner and operator of a Dry Cleaner. Upon moving to Florida, he became the Dry Cleaning & Laundry Manager for major local hotels and eventually becoming the owner of a Locksmith business. Lee was the Past Master of the Lodge of Antiquity No. 11, F. & A.M. in Brentwood, NY; Past President of the Laundry Managers Association and the Locksmith Association. He was also a member of the Lions Club (Antique Auto Show participant), Stock Car Racing Club, Antique Airplane Club; and the MG Car Club. Lee’s many hobbies included working with Stain Glass, Quilting, Woodworking (Canoe), Clock Repair and Car Repair.
Lee is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Elizabeth; 3 children, Scott Newton, Craig Newton and Lisa Drisher; 4 step-children, Keith Sinusas, M.D., Diane Webster, Albert Sinusas, M.D. and Janet Chamberlin; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11 AM at First United Methodist Church, 101 N. Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach.
