LAWRENCE “LARRY” J. GRISWOLD
age 88 of Lantana, FL passed away Friday, September 8, 2017. Larry was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and Korea, a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., the B.P.O.E. “Elks” and the Moose Lodge. He started his career with Skinner Precision Industries, which was shortly acquired by Honeywell Industries and retired in 1985 after over 30 years of employment. He and his wife Ida lived in Middletown, Connecticut prior to moving to The Villages, Florida in 1989 and then moving to Lantana, Florida in 2011.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ida; son & his wife, Rick and Lourdes Griswold; daughter and her husband, Lori & Roger Davey; and 3 grandchildren, Jennie Cassell, Paul Griswold & Eric Davey.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Atria Meridian Independent Living Facility, 3061 Donnelly Drive, Lantana, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to Salvation Army, 4051 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461 or American Legion Post 347, 699 W. Lady Lake Blvd., Lady Lake, FL 32159 in Larry’s memory.
