Katherine (“Kathy”) Novellino, formerly Katherine Zdonczik, 77, of Boynton Beach Florida passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
Born September 7, 1945 in Massapequa, N.Y., to Michael and Katherine Zdonczik, Katherine Novellino was primarily a mother and homemaker in her early years, raising not only her own three children, but her brother and sister, as a result of her parents untimely deaths. Katherine was an avid gardener and loved animals, especially Cosette, her beloved Westie. She was active in her church and taught Catechism to elementary school age children. She also gave generously to numerous charities. Later in life, she enjoyed a career in real estate sales and then retail jewelry sales before retiring to Boynton Beach, FL.
Katherine will be remembered by her devoted husband of 60-years, Michael Novellino, her surviving children, Michael, Karen and James (predeceased) Novellino, her daughter-in-law, Barbara, her brother, Michael Zdonczik, sister-in-law Janice Zdonczik, sister, Laura Atwater, brother-in- law Joseph Atwater, her grandchildren Nicholas and Amanda Novellino, her great-granddaughter, Olivia Novellino-O’Brien, as well as Nephews, Michael and Matthew Zdonczik and Daniel and Thomas O’Neil.
