KARL R. “TOPPY” BRANT
Age 91 of Lake Worth passed away Dec. 19, 2014. Toppy had been a resident of this area since 1924 coming from Michigan. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army and worked for the Palm Beach Post newspaper for 37 years retiring as a supervisor.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Winifred; 2 sons, Danny (Gail) Brant and Jody (Sue) Brant; 2 daughters, Bonnie Fuchs and Judy (Brad) Fletcher; sister, Deanna (Ron) Bochner; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Toppy was preceded in death by his son, Larry Brant.
Friends will be received from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 at Boynton Beach Memorial Park. Those who wish may make donations to Hospice at Dept. of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410.
