Julia Loving Mendelsberg, 61, Boynton Beach, Florida died suddenly and unexpectedly on June 25, 2023.
Julia was born on April 25,1962 in Seoul, South Korea. She was adopted by Larry and Jean Loving. Julia grew up in Canada with her older brothers. Eventually she relocated to Lake Worth Florida where her parents had a successful massage therapy school. She met her husband, Michael, in Lake Worth where he was a member of the police department. They were married on April 23,1994 at the Lake Worth Casino.
Julia was a loving and devoted and proud mother of two sons, Sean and Kevin. She was proud of Kevin’s musical endeavors and of Sean’s success in his coaching career. She was a devoted and loyal friend to many and loved boating with her husband, Mike. She was an avid Yahtzee player. For the last few years, she has been employed in the airline industry and most recently worked for Delta Airlines in their cargo department. Mike met Julia when she was rescuing a kitten in Lake Worth, and throughout her life she loved and owned both cats and dogs. She also volunteered at the Big Dog Ranch in Wellington. She thoroughly enjoyed her 60th birthday celebration last year with friends and family.
Julia is survived by her husband, Michael, of Boynton Beach, son Sean of Greenacres and son Kevin of Lakeland. Her brothers Bruce of North Carolina and Keith of Pennsylvania also survive her as do several nieces and nephews. Her parents Larry and Jean predeceased her.
On Saturday July 8, 2023, visitation will be from1-3pm at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home in Boynton Beach. Graveside services will follow at 4:00pm at Pinecrest cemetery in Lake Worth.
