On March 29th, 2023, we said goodbye to Judith Ann Stucchi, or "Jude" as her kids and close friends loved to call her. After a brief illness, she passed away with loved ones by her side at JFK Hospital in Boynton Beach, Florida. Born in September 1939 and raised in Ashland, Massachusetts, Judy graduated from Ashland High where she was a member of the glee club and dance committee to name a few. Her classmates remember her as being "very sacrificing" with a "sweet personality" and a "friendly smile", traits that would stay with her and impact others throughout her life.

After graduation, Judy worked as a secretary at Long's Auto Dealership where she met her husband, Rudolph Stucchi. They were married in 1963. After a few brief moves and the addition of three kids, they settled in Franklin Ma. where they found Judy’s dream home. Judy and Rudy worked tirelessly to make this home a welcoming place for their expanding family and many friends. Judy’s love of decorating and unique style shone throughout their beautiful home for many friends and family to enjoy. Judy had the gift of making everyone who visited her home laugh and feel welcome and loved. In those early day she could often be found in the kitchen, cooking, singing, dancing and being silly with her kids and their friends. Large family gatherings, endless pool parties, and even four of their children's weddings were some of the many special moments she left behind as memories many will not soon forget.

She and Rudy also had a passion for fostering children and welcomed many into their home over the years. She strived to provide a safe and comfortable home for kids who were waiting to be adopted. To the kids she fostered, Judy was more than a caregiver, she was “Mom”. The number is not clear as to how many children she helped along the way but, over the years almost all of them stayed in touch with her, came back to visit, and let her know how much she meant to them.

For more than 50 years, Judy was a dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her unwavering faith provided comfort to her throughout her life. In her final months, her faith shone brightly and served as a powerful witness to her children, grandchildren, to all who knew her, and more importantly, to those who didn’t. During those months she was doted on, spoiled and surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was happy, she was loved! Resolute in her beliefs, she passed away with conviction.

Those who were fortunate enough to know Judy will miss her dearly. Her kindness, sense of humor, and self sacrificing nature touched the hearts of many and will be remembered for years to come. Rest in peace, Jude. Your legacy of love and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of those you touched.
