Juanita "Nita" Lang Knobbe

Juanita, “Nita” Lang Knobbe, 95, of Boynton Beach Florida, passed away Tuesday March 9, 2021 in her Alpharetta, Ga home. Born April 12, 1925, in Pheba Mississippi, Nita had a long & successful career in accounting and business management, over 65 years, fully retiring at age 92. She worked with the Holiday Inn Corporation and in the early 70’s became one of the first female private golf club managers in the United States at Riverside Golf Club in Chicago Illinois. Ending her career in South Florida as a real estate property manager. An avid golfer since the early 60’s, she regularly played the “men’s tees” and held her own with any wager. A strong business woman and sports enthusiast, loving wife, mom and grandmother. Nita was predeceased by husband Eugene Frank Knobbe, sons Steven Knobbe and Robert Knobbe and daughter Linda Craddock. She is survived by her eldest son Dr. William A. Mullendore (Debbie) of Columbus, Ms. Her youngest son Jon D. Knobbe (Karen) of Alpharetta, GA. And many loving grandchildren. Nita will be interned with her late husband on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the South Florida National Cemetery with a private family graveside service.
