Juan Jose Soto, 66, of Lima, Peru passed away in his home on January 29th, 2023. He was born October 20, 1956 in Barranco, Peru.
He graduated from the National Police Academy in Peru and worked for the Peruvian Police Department for over 20 years achieving the rank of commander. In 2001, he relocated to the United States with his wife and daughters to chase the American Dream. He was a man of honor, a hard working husband, a thoughtful father and the best grandfather. He enjoyed watching endless hours of Peruvian Soccer rooting for his favorite team, Alianza Lima. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife. In 2018, they shared the trip of a lifetime together when they traveled to Russia to see the Peruvian National Team play in the World Cup. Other passions included making Peruvian ceviche on Sundays and finding any excuse to go to Home Depot. He was incredibly blessed to have a remarkable group of friends who helped celebrate his last birthday with a “police themed” party. A man of many names - Pepe, Huesito, Pepucho or Juancho - he could make everyone smile with his sharp and dry sense of humor.
Pepe will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 38 years, Ana; his loving children, Gabby and Johana; his son-in-law, Jordan; and his favorite sassy grandchild, Mila Case. A funeral service in memory of Juan Pepe Huesito Pepucho Juancho Soto will be held on Saturday, February 4, at 10am-1pm at the Scobee-Combs Funeral Home in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Graduado de la Policia Nacional del Peru. Sirviò a la instituciòn por màs de 20 años hasta llegar al cargo de Comandante. El era un hombre de honor, un esposo trabajador, un papá comprensivo, y el mejor Abu del mundo. Disfrutaba mucho mirar futbol por interminables horas y hacer barra a su equipo favorito, Alianza Lima. Le gustaba viajar con su esposa. En el año 2018, cumplieron el sueño de toda una vida cuando viajaron a Rusia a ver al equipo nacional de Peru jugar en la copa del mundo. Otras pasiones, incluían hacer ceviche los domingos, y encontrar cualquier excusa para ir a Home Depot. Tuvo un gran grupo de amigos que celebraron junto a èl su ùltimo cumpleaños, con el tema de policía. El era un hombre de mucho nombres- Pepe, huesito, Pepucho, cholito o Juancho- podìa hacer reír a cualquiera gracias a su carisma.
Pepe sera recordado por su Esposa, con la cual compartiò 38 años de su vida, Ana; sus queridas hijas, Gabriela y Johana; su suegro Jordan; y su nieta favorita y picara Mila Case. Se hará un servicio en memoria de Juan Soto el Sábado 4 de Febrero 2023 a las 10am-1pm en Scobee-Combs Funeral Home Boynton Beach, Florida.
