Joseph John D’Allesandro age 70 of Boynton Beach passed away Friday, December 11, 2020.
Joseph was born on June 7, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Vincent and Anna D’Allesandro.
Joe served his country honorably as a Naval Reservist. During Joe’s career in the hospitality industry Joe became general manager as well as food and beverage director in several prestigious South Florida country clubs.
When Joe wasn’t in Boynton Beach he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in Wildwood, New Jersey and has many great memories there as well.
Joe was a kind soul who was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Joe is predeceased by his wife Donna (Merkel) D'Allesandro and his son Derek D'Allesandro. He is survived by his five siblings Linda (Mike) Billiris, Bruce D'Allesandro (Nitty), Barbara (Bill) Perrone, Chris (Anthony) Catanoso, and Cathy (Mark) Aubin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews and all of his "neighborhood friends" who took great care of him.
The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10935 S. Military Trail, Boynton Beach, Florida.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic the size of attendees is limited and we would kindly ask that you RSVP the family if you wish to attend.
There will be a Celebration of Joe's life in New Jersey at a future date to be determined, most likely in late spring or summer of 2021.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wildwood Catholic Academy (formerly Wildwood Catholic High School and Joe and his siblings graduated from)
