In Loving Memory of
Joseph B. “Papa Joe” Cimilluca
Joseph recently passed away peacefully in his sleep at his own home. We believe he is now with Our Heavenly Father, whom he loved so much. Beloved by his family and so many friends from church and at work, Joseph is best remembered for his big personality (occasionally assuming other personas such as the photo-mugging “Izzy” and “The Grandfather”). We will all miss his genuinely warm heart, loyalty, generosity, a love for animals, a tremendous laugh, a silly sense of humor and his devotion to his faith and loved ones.
Joseph is survived by his wife Cheryl of over 47 years, his son Sean and his wife, Lisa (Smithfield, VA) and his daughter Lori Cimilluca Morales (Boynton Beach, FL.) He also leaves behind niece Lynn McDonald and her husband Steve (Islip Terrace, NY), her son Justin (New Jersey), his nephew John Demartini (Westbury, NY)and niece Lisa Breslin (Connecticut). He was a loving grandfather to his eight amazing grandchildren Heather, Jacob, Samantha, Natalie, Rebecca, Grace, Ian and Levi.
In accordance with current circumstances and limited capacity in social situations, there will be a private burial ceremony at sea. The family will be having informal visiting hours at Trinity Lutheran Church’s Fellowship Hall on Wednesday June 17th from 3-5pm.
