JOSEPH BASCONE

Joseph Bascone, age 83, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026.

Born on August 31, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, Joseph lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and service to others. He proudly served in the United States Navy as a barber before pursuing a successful career as the owner of a beauty salon on Long Island, New York. Later, he relocated to South Florida, where he met and married Pat Brady and became a respected and skilled home improvement specialist. 

Joseph will be remembered for his strong work ethic, sense of humor, his patience and his willingness to help others. His passion for cars, motorcycles and boats and figuring out how to fix anything was known by all. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Bascone where they spent that last thirty years living in the Jupiter Florida community and over the past year became residents of The Club, an Assisted Living Facility in Boynton Beach.

He is also survived by his daughters, Stephanie Bascone and Melissa Walker; and his stepdaughters, Linda Wilson and her husband, Rick; Karen Brady and her husband, James; and Tammy Gianfortune and her husband, Philip. He is also survived by his step-grandchildren, Philip and Alex Gianfortune, along with extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. A Funeral Mass for Joseph will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Boynton Beach, Florida, on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 1 PM. A Celebration of Life honoring Joseph will be held immediately after at The Club of Boynton Beach located at 623 S. Federal Highway.

Joseph's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace
