John P. Vallely passed away peacefully on December 13, 2021, in Boynton Beach, Florida, at the age of 84. He was born in 1937 in Bronx, New York, to the late Wilfred and Florence (Schuey) Vallely. He and his family later moved to Mahopac, NY. John graduated Mahopac High School in 1955. From 1955 to 1959 he was enlisted in the United States Air Force and was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran.
In October of 1959, he married Patricia (O’Connor) Vallely and had two children, Denise & John. He was a devoted husband and father. Sadly, his beloved son, John, passed away in 1978, and is greatly missed.
John worked in the retail car business in New York for many years and owned his own used car lot in Florida. John’s famous sales pitch when selling cars was, “This one’s got all the goodies!” He was very successful at what he did and enjoyed it.
John and Pat moved to Florida in 1989 to be nearer to Denise, John & John Patrick. John’s only grandson, John Patrick, was born in 1990. Many happy moments were shared with his grandson, he loved him dearly.
John was a very funny & enjoyable man to be around. He enjoyed his family and friends, was always smiling, laughing, and told many a good joke. He enjoyed skiing in the winter, golfing and boating in the summer. He took first place in many golf tournaments at his club in Hunter’s Run Country Club in Boynton Beach where he lived for 28 years. John and Pat traveled many places in Europe and in the States by air, land, and sea with family and friends. They enjoyed many a fun time.
John will be greatly missed by his wife, Pat, of 62 years, his daughter, Denise, his son-in-law, John, his grandson, John, his only surviving sibling, Lois, many nieces and nephews; and cherished friends that he enjoyed for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son John, sister, Pat, and brothers, Jim and Joe. He will be forever in our hearts.
