JOHN T. DE VRIES
Age 83 of Boynton Beach, FL passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior on July 10, 2016. John served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a retired Postal Carrier.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Peg) De Vries; brothers, Walter (Lois), Peter (Arlene), Edgar, Calvin, Martin, Jr. (Carol), and David (Carol); brother-in-law, John (Mic) Insel; children, Mark, Terrence and Jennifer; grandchildren; Tanya (Lance) Holtgeerts, Brittney De Vries, Lindsey De Vries, John T De Vries, Jevic De Vries and great grandchildren; Maddox Holtgeerts, Maverick Holtgeerts, Ariana De Vries, Hudson De Vries. He was predeceased by his sisters-in-law, Shirley and Barbara and nephew Peter John Insel.
The viewing at 10:00 AM and the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. Graveside Services and Military Honors will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road #7, Lake Worth, FL (Lane #3).
