Joan Ellin Marino, age 85, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of strength and love. Born in New York City in 1939, Joan was an extraordinary individual who defied the odds right from the start. As an incubator baby showcased at the World's Fair, she overcame early health challenges and went on to live a remarkable life.

Joan was the beloved wife of James Marino and a devoted mother to her daughter Dona Marino. She is also survived by Dona's husband, Brian O'Connor. She was a cherished grandmother to Kylie O'Connor, whom she adored.

Joan had a passion for crochet and spent countless hours creating beautiful pieces that brought joy to those around her. She also had a keen love for shopping, always finding the perfect deals and gifts for her loved ones.

Joan's life was a testament to resilience and grace. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Friends will be received at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, 599 N.E. 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
