Beloved James Ralph Bellucy Jr, passed away suddenly on March 9. 2019.
Born November 7,1954 in Mineola, Long Island, son of James Ralph Sr, and Gloria Bellucy.
Fondly referred to as Jimmy, he graduated from Deer Park High School 1972 and immediately joined the Navy. He served as a boiler operator. Upon leaving the Navy, Jim was master of construction and engineering. He served at Bethesda Memorial Hospital for over 30 years.
Jim was a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved his Harley Davidson and enjoyed riding the open road with the wind in his hair. Jim had a heart of gold, and he would give anyone the shirt off of his back. He volunteered with The Make A Wish Foundation. He was no stranger to loss, as his beloved daughter Stephanie passed away of leukemia at the age of 8. Jim made friends easily, and he was loved by so many. He will be deeply missed.
Jim is survived by wife, Regina; sons, Christopher Ryan (Meredith) (son of late Edna Bellucy), James Liam (son of Patricia) and step son, Michael Crafa; Grandchildren, Brianna and Landon, and great grandson, Christopher Michael; Brothers and sisters Carol Erlwein, Ginny (Jack) Wyer, Patricia (Ronald) McGee, and Kevin (Karen) Bellucy. Jim will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Friends will be received on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place, Boynton Beach, FL followed by burial at 1:15 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth (Lane #3).
