Biography of Jacques Rony Saint-Louis
October 25, 1954—December 23, 2018
Jacques Rony Saint-Louis died at the young age of 64. He was born in Pignon, Haiti and was the 4th of 7 offsprings of the late Claudius Daniel Saint-Louis and Alexandrine Belotte. Rony pursued his primary and secondary education in the city of Cap-Haitien, Haiti.
Rony is survived by 3 children: Stephanie, Alexandre and Fabienne. He is also survived by 7 sisters: Ella, Vida, Micheline, Magalie, Flore, Marie-Rose and Claunide. Rony was also the proud grandfather of 3 beautiful grandchildren: Gabriel, Jennie and Isabelle Joseph.
Rony immigrated to the US in the late 1970s in the pursuit of a better life. He became an accomplished musician and was pleased with his musical career. His love for music was contagious and permeated the lives of his family, his friends as well as his acquaintances.
Rony was a good man with an enormous faith in God. He was a quiet soul with a tender heart. He was always ready to help those in need. Rony will be truly missed by those who knew him well and loved him. He will be forever remembered as a great musician, a good Catholic and an outstanding brother that any sister could ever wish for.
