age 73 of Boynton Beach passed away at her home Friday, March 11, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Affectionately known as Sandi, she was born March 9, 1943 in Paterson, New Jersey to the late Alexander and Jean Barbara Zengage. Sandi received her doctorate in Human Resources from Nova SouthEastern University in Fort Lauderdale and was teaching at five Universities. She was artistically talented throughout her life and she loved to travel, bowl, golf, ballroom dancing and her church, Seacrest Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach.
Sandi is survived by her loving husband, Gilbert; 2 daughters, Cathleen Johnson and Suzanne (Steven) Holczer; 2 grandchildren, Jackson and Cydny Johnson; 3 brothers, Jim (Mary) Zengage, Thomas Zengage and Kenneth Zengage; sister, Barbara Zengage; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Committal Service will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth. A Celebration of Sandi’s Life will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Seacrest Presbyterian Church, 2703 Seacrest Blvd, Delray Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 in Sandi’s memory.
