On January 13, 2015 Irvin Branson of Boynton Beach, Florida went home to be with the Lord.
Irvin was born July 13, 1925 in Judge, Missouri and has one surviving sister of 8 siblings, Jerry Blosser. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, William George “Bill” Branson and is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 54 years, Helen; his children Craig, (Deniece), Rick, Jon (June), David (Nanci), Nancy, Rick (Teri); Daughter-in-law, Scherry (the late, Bill); 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. His quiver was full. The Visitation and Funeral Service will be at Lakeside United Methodist Church, 1801 12th Ave. S. Lake Worth, FL 33461 on Saturday, January 17, 2015, with visitation from 1-3 pm and service at 3 pm. Reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 10 am at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lakeside United Methodist Church Memorials Fund. A special thank you to the staff and Carmelite Sisters of Lourdes Noreen-McKeen Residence for the loving care they provided to our Papi.
