Herb was a faithful member of the Maplecrest Free Methodist Church, and, for the past 30 years that he and Eleanor spent wintering in Florida, of the Seacrest Presbyterian Church in Delray Beach, Florida. He had a beautiful voice and often sang solos or with the choir in both churches. He was a lifetime member of the Windham Hose Company and served a two-year term as Supervisor of the Town of Windham. Herb and Eleanor enjoyed traveling and spending time with their immediate and extended family.
