HERBERT V. DANIELSON, JR.
Age 78, son of Herb Danielson Sr and Elin Olson Danielson, went home to his Lord and Savior on May 27, 2014. Born in Boston, Ma. Graduated N. Quincy High 1953, Northwestern University 1957, and Honorable Discharge from US Navy after serving as Gunnery Officer on the USS Saufley. He was an active businessman in Miami as branch Manager for New England Life, taught CLU classes at FIU won Million Dollar Roundtable Awards several times. Went on to become an Enrolled Actuary running his own pension plan and personal investment business until his death. He married the love of his life, Diane Neville Grant in May 1976. He was a past President of the South Dade Chamber of Commerce, and active in many other business organizations and was a member of the Northwestern University Alumni. His support of missionary work to the people of Haiti through the Radio 4VEH Ministry was a personal calling to him. Ultimately serving on their board of Directors. He is survived by his wife Diane and daughter Linda Grant, 3 sons, Steve, Bill and Mark; 5 grandchildren, Craig Danielson, PFC Victoria Watson, Scott Danielson, and Paige Elin Danielson; his sister Carolyn Wood and niece Jenifer Maze; his aunt Eleanor and several cousins. He was preceded by sons James Victor and John Carl. Service will be held at St Luke Catholic Church, 2892 S. Congress Ave, Palm Springs, FL 33461 at 11:00 AM on Saturday June 7, 2014.
