Helen Joslin

HELEN SHAFF JOSLIN 1928 - 2013 Helen Joslin, 84, a resident of Kirkland, Washington, passed away August 1st. Helen was born and spent her school years in Nashville, Tennessee and raised her family in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Boynton Beach, Florida. In addition to being a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she enjoyed a satisfying career as an accounts manager at FEC News in West Palm Beach. Her favorite past times included gardening and playing Bridge. She was best known for her contagious sense of humor and sharp wit. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Bill, her brother, Howard and granddaughter, Becky. She and Bill were both active in the Boynton Beach VFW. Helen is survived by her children, Dan and Debra, grandchildren, Trey, Matthew, Eric, and Kyle, four great-grandchildren, sisters, Leah Jean, Hester, and Huldah, and many special nieces and nephews. Memorial Services are to be held at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Ave. in Boynton Beach on Monday, August 5th at 4:00 P.M.
