Harriet Mcclure

HARRIET R. McCLURE Just shy of 90 years Harriet McClure of Boynton Beach passed away July 23, 2013. She had been an active resident of Boynton Beach for 40 years coming from Atlanta, GA. Harriet was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Boynton Beach, one of the founding members of its Friendship Circle and enjoyed participating in the church handbell choir; first President of Seagate of Gulfstream Womens Club; former member of Cypress Creek Country Club, and a Life Master in Bridge. She was the beloved wife of E. Wayne McClure for 50 years before his death in 1994. Harriet enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, card games, and creating beautiful needlepoint pieces. She is survived by 2 sons, Ted and Tom McClure; daughter, Polly Spence; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and niece, Sally Sheldon. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Radford. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church, 235 S.W. 6th Avenue, Boynton Beach. Friends are asked to make donations in memory of E. Wayne and Harriet R. McClure to First Presbyterian Church in Boynton Beach.
