GRACE C. COLLOCA
Age 99 of Boynton Beach passed away peacefully on March 20, 2018.
She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony Colloca, her sisters, Mary Verrone and Rita LaRubio and her brothers, Anthony Bavaro and Benny Bavaro. Grace was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1918 and she and her husband retired to Boynton Beach in 1973 and never left. In her early years she was a hairdresser and once they moved here, she and her husband spent many years traveling around the world and going on cruises with their friends.
While living in Leisureville she was busy organizing events and was extremely active in her community. Grace enjoyed knitting and crocheting and loved to cook and bake. Her robust spirit will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. Entombment will follow at the Boynton Beach Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church in memory of Grace C. Colloca.
