“I will lie down and sleep in peace, For you alone, O Jehovah,
make me dwell in security.” – Psalms 4:8

Mirta was born Friday, May 3, 1946 to her parents, Genoveva Torres and Dionisio Beltran in Lares, Puerto Rico. Mirta was the one of six children in a loving family. Mom married our father, Felipe Bonilla and shared many memories for 30 years.
She is survived by her mother, Genoveva Torres; sisters, Auria Figueroa and Lucy Ortiz; brother, Dionisio (Kiko) Beltran; four children, Felipe Bonilla Jr., David Bonilla, Steven Mark Bonilla and Margarita Feliciano; twenty-one grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, Dionisio Beltran, and two brothers, Francisco “Paco” Beltran and Juan Francisco Beltran.
Mom loved her family very much as we loved her. She enjoyed life and spending time with her family. We could always count on her for advice, whether it was advice we wanted or not, we knew it was for the best. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed family gatherings. She loved the outdoors, nature and all of Jehovah’s creations. Her laugh was infectious and could make everyone in the room laugh at her funny jokes. Never a bad moment around mom and so our cherished memories will forever live on.

LOVE LIVES ON
“Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, far as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in our hearts.”
