Gary Stephen Kidwell Jr.

GARY STEPHEN KIDWELL, JR.
39 of Boynton Beach, FL passed away on February 12, 2015 after a long battle with an immune deficiency disease. Gary was a fighter and he proved that during his battle. He loved many things but his love for his three children was immeasurable.
He graduated from Park View High School in Sterling, VA, attended both Northern Virginia Community College and East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. In his earlier years he was a volunteer fire fighter for Sterling Volunteer Fire Department. He coached youth soccer for SYSA and youth football for LLBFL. Gary was a distinguished softball coach with West Boynton Girls Fastpitch where he recently led his 8U Lady Bandits to the USSSA state championship title – it was one of his greatest accomplishments and his lifelong dream come true.
Gary was employed by Wells Fargo Financial Advisors in Boca Raton, FL as a Registered Client Associate. During his many illnesses Gary continued to work on a full time basis until his most recent illness and major surgery.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Robin Kidwell of Sterling, VA; his sister and brother in law, John and Christa MacDonald of Leesburg, VA; his brother, Andrew Kidwell of Sterling, VA; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Royce “Gammy”; his three beautiful daughters, Alexa, Haley and Katelyn Kidwell; his nieces, Lilly and Ella MacDonald; and a host of many relatives and friends.
Gary was a selfless man who touched the lives of many. We were all blessed to be a part of his short life. In the words of Coach Gary, “Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose!”
Friends will be received Monday, February 16, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with the Funeral at 1:00 PM at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach.
