He was born on Fort Totten in New York on July 27, 1946, to Louise and Merle Preble. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1968 with a bachelor's in Architecture and in 1976 he acquired his Masters in Civil Engineering. Garry's career was not defined by the degrees he held or even the jobs he entertained, he was a man of the world, ready at any moment to sacrifice personal gain, career development, and monetary success for a happy home and an adventurous family life. He married Constanza on December 27, 1968, and together they enjoyed a long and fruitful marriage of 54 years.
Garry is survived by his loving wife, his sister Marilyn, his 7 children, and 14 grandchildren. He was born on July 27, 1946, and passed away on October 25, 2022, at 2:15 am.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Boca Raton, Florida.
