Gail Eleanor Vreeland went home to be with her heavenly family on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Born in Norristown, PA to Dorothy and Garnett Sigler. Gail had 2 sisters Emily (Husband Richard), Penny (deceased) (Husband Eddie) and one brother Gary (Wife Ruth Ann). Gail married Alonzo Milton Vreeland Jr. in 1956. They moved together from Pennsylvania to Lantana, FL and began their life together. Gail had 3 children Renee (Husband Robert), Michelle - deceased, and Scott. She also had 3 grandchildren Heather, Richie, Penny and one great grandson Caleb.
Gail was an incredibly proud graduate of Lake Worth High School! At 52 years old, she pursued and received her diploma! Gail enjoyed being out and around all people. She was a cashier at Woolworths for approximately 10 years. She also worked as a card lady and jewelry expert at Sam’s Club. Gail loved helping others find just the right piece of jewelry for their loved ones.
Gail’s home was always a dwelling of beauty, delightfully decorated with color, both inside and out! She always admired the splendor of the flowers and butterflies in her butterfly garden. She especially enjoyed watching as the Monarchs’ changed right in front of her, from a detailed green and golden chrysalis to a beautiful butterfly. Gail, her husband Al and son Scott also loved their fruit and vegetable garden, they enjoyed cooking with their home grown produce!
Though Gail enjoyed each season throughout the year, Christmas time was her favorite! It was always an especially beautiful site when you walked into her home; she took great pleasure in choosing and placing each of her Christmas ornaments! Gail was a connoisseur of quality and was famous for returning live Christmas trees that didn’t live up to her expectations!
Gail was always active with her many hobbies! She was an avid crafter, using her attention to detail and supreme patience to make various pieces for home and her loved ones! She specialized in petal porcelain and anything that sparkled! Gail was a great cook and enjoyed cooking at home, but it was undeniable how much she loved a wonderful meal out on the town! Anyone that spent time with Gail knew that her ultimate passion was shopping! Her family expects to see a huge decline in Publix & QVC sales now that Gail has ascended to heaven!
Gail’s greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and her recently born great grandson! She was excited to hear she would be a Great Grandmother for the second time later this year! Gail’s heart was always full of unconditional love, she had an extraordinary gift to reach out and support people struggling with life’s challenges. Gail listened and truly cared about each person she became friends with. Gail especially enjoyed gathering with her close friends “The Ladies of Sam’s.” They tried to get together as much as possible knowing that there was no doubt a fantastic time would be had!
One of Gail’s greatest surprises in life was reuniting with her brother Gary after 50 years! She was delighted to be together again with her brother Gary, her sister Emily and their families at a loving family reunion in Pennsylvania!

Gail will be greatly missed by many people but especially by her husband of 60 years, they grew up together, had many struggles & sadness’s but just as many accomplishments and joys! Few people could have walked their path and survived together!
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 for Gail’s dearest friends and family. Contact Renee at (321) 961-9898 for information.
