Filomena Adair
August 19, 1925 — October 21, 2017
Filomena Adair gained her wings on Saturday, October 21st. She was a very young 92! Born on August 19, 1925 to Louise and Nuziate Coppola. From the moment she was born she touched the lives of everyone that knew her.
Filomena had a very active, full life and still volunteered twice a week at the Mae Volen Senior Center.
She leaves behind her daughters and their spouses, Carol & Lou and Gail & Marty, her grandchildren Geraldine (Marc), Karen (Aly), Steven (Kristy), Sean (Diane), Kim (Matt), Meghan, and Patricia (Daniel), and her great grandchildren, AnnaMarie, Cameron, Alex, Ava, Chloe, Oliver, Jennifer, Ben, Logan, Dillon, Sienna, Gavin, Lexianna and baby Anthony.
Her accomplishments were many…
The lives she touched were countless…
The love she gave was endless…
And the hole she leaves in our hearts is immense.
She will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Gathering will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 9 am – 11 am at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:30 am at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 6090 Hypoluxo Road, Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Filomena’s memory.
