Ferenc Schuchanek Rezso February 27th, 1951- November 18th, 2019.
Age 69 of Delray Beach passed away Monday, November 18th, 2019. Ferenc was born on February 27th, 1951 in Budapest, Hungary to the late Laszlo Schuchanek and Valeria Julianna Mor. He attended a Culinary Art School in Hungary where he learned his expertise in fine dining. Ferenc moved to the United States around the late 90s. He had strong passion for the restaurant business and great taste for food. Ferenc has 2 sons, the oldest son being Ferenc Schuchanek and the younger son is Tamas Schuchanek. Ferenc loved to talk about how proud he was of his children. He loved to travel with his wife, Edit Gyuritza. They did trips to Las Vegas, Key West, Islamorada, and their favorite yearly trips Hungary. He enjoyed smoking cigars, preferably his Hawaiian cigars. When Ferenc had free time, he would make his own jokes and write them down. Ferenc always knew how to make everyone smile, even strangers with his positive energy and his jokes. He married his wife, Edit Gyuritza, on November 11th, 2006. He loved spending time with his loving wife, Edit. They would spend many weekends enjoying live music and dancing at Johnny Brown’s on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. Ferenc had a great taste for beer and wine. His favorite was German beer. At one-point Ferenc was the top wine seller at his job for many years. In addition, to his wife and children, Ferenc is survived by his one brother, Laszlo Schuchanek; and his two grandchildren, Tamas Schuchanek, and Balint Schuchanek. The Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach, Florida. Ferenc will be laid to rest back in his home country Budapest, Hungary.
