Age 66 of Lantana passed away Aug. 13, 2014. Roland was born in Tampa, FL and graduated from Seacrest High School. He worked for Florida Public Utilities for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Parker; 2 daughters, Carrie (Paul) Wilt, Robin (Russell) Rucci, both of Boynton Beach; mother, Ella Combs of Boynton Beach; 2 brothers, Philip Parker of Ohio, Larry Atchison of West Palm Beach and 4 grandchildren, Kaylee, Taylor, Matthew & Jake.
Friends will be received from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Boynton Beach Memorial Park.
