With deep love and heartfelt remembrance, we announce the passing of Eva Brooks Netzler (Knuth) on June 7, 2025, at the age of 92. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, creativity, and joy.
Born on November 28, 1932, in Columbus, Georgia, Eva lived a life filled with grace, generosity, and quiet strength. She was a woman of many passions—an avid gardener who found peace among her flowers, a gifted pianist whose music brought comfort and delight, and a gracious hostess who loved entertaining with elegance and heart.
Eva’s home was always open, her table always welcoming, and her heart always full. Her love for beauty, music, and connection touched everyone who knew her. Whether through her community involvement, her nurturing spirit, or her joyful gatherings, she brought people together and made them feel seen and cherished.
Eva is survived by her beloved husband, Wayne Netzler; her sons Greg Knuth (Terri Knuth) and Brad Knuth (Robin Le Roy-Anderson); her cherished granddaughters Cynthia Knuth (Nick Brunetti) and Adrienne Wilson (Nathan Wilson); her stepson Dave Netzler and stepdaughter Linda Stull (Ryan Stull); and a circle of nieces and nephews who adored her. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff “Stump” Knuth, and her beloved sisters Virginia Baker, Evelyn Tew, and Besse Stanley.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home in Boynton Beach, Florida. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate Eva’s remarkable life.
Eva Brooks Netzler (Knuth) will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the gardens she tended, the music she played, and the hearts she touched.
