Emil F. Moscariello, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away at home on December 5, 2024, in Mount Dora, Florida, at the age of 78.


Born on July 5, 1946, in Newark, New Jersey, Emil moved with his parents Emil Sr. and Pauline to Washington, New Jersey, as a boy. He met his first wife in high school and was blessed with two daughters. The family relocated to Florida in 1973.


In 1975, Emil married his second wife, Linda, eventually settled in Boynton Beach with their son and were married 47-years. Recently divorced, Emil moved to Mount Dora to be closer to family during his retirement.


A lifelong car enthusiast, Emil immersed himself in the world of auto racing, spending many years working at the Palm Beach International Raceway. His diverse career also included owning a News & Stationary Store and a Porcelain Doll Shop, as well as serving as a Service Manager at prominent auto dealerships in South Florida.


Emil is survived by his children, Shelly (Scott) Barnhart, Nicolle (John) Baker, and Les Moscariello; his grandchildren, Brittany, Alexander, Andrew, Abigail (Cody) Carroll, Max, and Gianna; and his great-grandchildren, Bennett Jackson-Carroll, and Charlie-Belle Carroll.


Visitation will be held from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, December 20th at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home in Boynton Beach, followed by a graveside service at Boynton Beach Mausoleum.
