ELIZABETH ANN KRUPA
Age 77 of Wellington passed away on November 12, 2020.
Elizabeth Ann Soars Krupa was born on September 16, 1943 in Sussex, England. She was the daughter of a Canadian solider and an Irish Nurse, both serving their countries during WWII. She immigrated to Canada with her parents after the war where they lived for the next 10 years. Her mother always dreamed of living in sunny California, so off to the states they ventured in 1953. Liz graduated from Marywood All-Girls Catholic School in 1962.
Sales was in Liz’s blood. Her father was a motorhome salesman and got Liz a job. Liz soon became the top selling female sales person of the year. Liz also loved to travel. In 1975, she loaded up the station wagon and moved to Florida with her 3 children, Patrick, Michelle, and Sean. She began a new career in 1986 as a travel agent where she was always one of the top sales persons for her company.
Liz met her husband, Robert Krupa, in 1985 and they were married on a cruise ship in 1987. Together they traveled the world. Family and friends were able to travel places with Liz, too…she loved taking people on trips! Her favorite place on Earth was Alaska! It brought joy to her soul every time she witnessed someone seeing Alaska’s breathtaking scenery for the first time. She visited Alaska 11 times! In the summer of 2019, Liz made one more journey to the majestic state with her daughter, Michelle, for 21 days… she was the best travel buddy!
She was so proud of her son, Patrick, for following in his grandmother’s footsteps and becoming a nurse. His passion for taking care of the elderly brought her much pride. Her daughter, Michelle, has been teaching in Palm Beach County for over 25 years. Her son, Sean, was an athlete in school and Liz loved watching him play. She knew more about the game of football than most people…she loved her Dallas Cowboys!
Her son, Sean, though, brought Liz her greatest joy of all-time when he and his wife, Dawn, started their family. Liz’s grandchildren, Madison and Ryan, were the loves of her life and she adored them with every fiber of her being.
Her best friend and sister, Maureen, talked with Liz every single day. Even though there were thousands of miles between them, they were closer than any two people could ever be. She had many nieces and nephews that loved their Auntie Liz. One beloved brother preceded her in death. Her brothers, Michael and John, both followed Liz to Florida and now live in Hobe Sound.
Liz was someone who could make fast friends with anyone she met. She would strike up a conversation with total strangers, many of those strangers becoming life-long friends. She had the respect and admiration of many colleagues, the life-long friendships of countless people, and the love of an incredible family that loved her so much. She will be missed every day. The world has lost an incredible woman; but, has a beautiful angel watching over all who loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Krupa; daughter, Elizabeth Michelle Walters; 2 sons, Sean Walters & Patrick Miller; stepson, Michael Krupa; stepdaughter, Laura Allan; sister, Maureen Melendrez; 2 brothers, Michael Soars & John Soars; brother-in-law, Kenneth Krupa.
