EDWIN A. SCHLECHTING
Age 79 of Boynton Beach passed away May 19, 2018. Ed moved to Boynton Beach in 1998 coming from Poughkeepsie, NY after retiring from Con Edison Nuclear Facility after 37 years of service. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Boynton Beach. Ed loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, playing golf and softball. He served as a starter at Boca-Delray Golf Course.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eileen; daughter, Linda (Christopher) Obszarny; son, James (Michelle) Schlechting; 3 grandchildren, Ryan & Morgan Obszarny & Hanlon Schlechting; sister, Cecelia (Alex) Zulla and his brother, Albert (Kathleen) Schlechting.
The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place, Boynton Beach, Florida.
Friends are asked to make donations to the American Cancer Society in memory of Edwin A. Schlechting.
