FALLS, Edna Ida
Age 91 of Delray Beach, FL passed away peacefully December 6, 2015 at Manor Care Nursing Facility in Boynton Beach, FL. Born January 19, 1924 in Dorsey, MD near Baltimore. She was predeceased by Russell Falls of Dade City, FL and is survived by her sons, Barry Zuccarini and Bruce Zuccarini and family, grandchildren, Angela Fouse and Clinton Zuccarini, step-grandchildren, Donald Whillock and Tracy Copeland, and nephew, Buzz Wolf, his wife Eleanor and daughter Erica. Edna moved to Florida in 1989 after a long and successful career as program director and fill-in new anchor for a New Jersey NBC affiliate. She was an avid sports fan and especially loved football and NASCAR. She was a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary 69th Infantry Division Association and a member of the local VFW Post 5335 in Boynton Beach. The family would like to thank the staff at Manor Care for their loving care and compassionate treatment. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the VFW Post 5335, 500 NE 21st Ave., Boynton Beach, FL 33435. The family will receive friends at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home and Crematory, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach Thursday, December 10 from 11:00 to 1:00. Graveside services will begin at 1:30 PM at Boynton Beach Memorial Cemetery.
