In loving memory of Douglas “Doug” W. Williams, 65, a resident of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2025 with his family by his side.

He was born January 24, 1960, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Doug was married to Connie for nearly 39 years, demonstrating a strong commitment as a husband and truly showed the meaning of being an amazing and loving father. He was a great role model for his children and grandchildren. He consistently upheld and taught the principles of hard work and honesty to his family and all of those around him.

Doug enlisted in the Navy in 1979 to work in the Aviation department. He loved attending Nascar races, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and attending concerts and church. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren every chance he had. Doug would share his knowledge of working on cars, usually directly to his daughter, but would entertain anyone who was in need of guidance.

He loved serving God and assisting, in any way that he was able and prior to his illness he was very active in the Audio-Visual and Children’s Ministries at his Church.

Doug is survived by his loving wife, Connie Robinson Williams; his daughter, Jennifer “Amanda” Carter of Delray Beach, FL and his son, Danny Ray Carter of Bloomingdale, GA; his grandchildren, Angelina Kashay Wimbley (21), Dylan Douglas Carter (18), Jayce Mae Pickett (9), Bryson Lee Pickett (7), his mother, Elaine (John) Grippi, his younger sister, Dana (Buddy) Dinnan, his younger brother Warren (Trish) Williams and his youngest brother, Grant (Katie) Williams.

Doug was preceded in death by his grandson, Jasper Dean Pickett (at 6 months old) and his father, Charles “Bailey” (Tena) Williams.
