Dottie Willson passed away peacefully in Delray Beach, Florida on Friday, November 12, 2021 after a 14-month battle with cancer; she was 86 years old. Dottie was born in Spring Valley, New York on July 7, 1935 to Autumn and Evelyn Van Den Heuval, and is now resting in the loving arms of her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.
Dottie loved to spend time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, nana and friend.She was employed as an executive secretary for many years. After retiring, while spending time in New York, she coached the Girls Varsity Tennis Team at Washingtonville High School. She
also facilitated the men and women’s tennis matches at the Boynton Beach Tennis Center in Boynton Beach, Florida. She loved to cook and entertain, truly enjoyed life to the fullest. She was an avid tennis player. She played up until the age of 85. She was also an exceptional bowler. She won the Golden Pin in Nyack, NY 1962-1963. She was competitive, but selfless and could always be counted on when needed.
She will be missed dearly.
Dottie is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Jack; sons Jack III (Gina), Bob (Lynn); 5 grandchildren, Michael (Cira) Stephen (Emily), CJ (Marissa), Krista & Kerri; 11 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kaiden, Frankie, Ayla, Mia, Lucas, Reese, Emerson, River, Charlotte & Oliver; brother-in-law Roger (Barbara); sister-in-law Joan (Tom); many nieces and nephews; and cherished friends.

A Memorial Gathering and Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021. The Memorial Gathering will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 PM.
