Dorothy M. (Mele) McCloskey passed away peacefully at her home in Boynton Beach, Florida on August 11, 2016.
Dorothy was born in New Jersey and grew up in South Orange, NJ. She graduated in 1946 from the College of Saint Elizabeth. Dorothy married John (Jack) McCloskey in 1947 and retired from WeNewark Federal Credit Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) McCloskey and a son, J. Daniel McCloskey.
Dorothy is survived by 3 daughters, Susan D. McCloskey of Budd Lake, Diane M. Proto of Budd Lake and Lynn P. Theis of Boynton Beach, FL; 2 sons, James M. McCloskey of Rockaway and Terence P. McCloskey of Byram; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
The Funeral Mass will be held in St. Jude Parish, 17 Mount Olive Road, Budd Lake, NJ on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
