Dorothy “Dot” Mucurio Brady (Nee Wagner)
Dorothy of Barnesboro, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday,
June 2, 2022 at the age of 91 in the comfort of her home. Born May 21, 1931 in Cambria, Pennsylvania to the late Floyd Wagner and Nellie Virginis. She married at a young age to Mr. Anthony Mucurio of Erie, Pennsylvania. The young couple then moved to Utica, New York. Dorothy was a homemaker, the couple had five children together, Marilyn, Joseph, Richard, Cynthia and Carolyn. Her first husband preceded her in death in May of 1983. Dorothy then married Mr. Allen L. Brady of Carthage, New York. She spent summers with her grandchildren at the couple’s home at Lake Elijah, New York and winters in their home in Boynton Beach, Florida. Dorothy and her husband bowled on leagues at the Boynton Beach Fair Lanes. After the death of her second husband in December of 1994, the couples Florida home became her permanent residence.
She enjoyed baking, catering and spending time with her family. Dorothy was a member of Silver Sneakers, enjoyed dancing and loved taking her great grandchildren to the beach. She is survived by her children, Marilyn (Martin) Rosato of Tampa, Florida; Joseph (Christine) Mucurio of Boynton Beach, Florida; Cynthia (David) Siriano of Barneveld, New York and Carolyn Murcurio of Boynton Beach, Florida. Her son, Richard preceded her death in 2011. She also leaves behind beloved grandchildren, Gina (Tom) Rosato-Komnonis, Marissa Rosato, Ricky (Rachel) Mucurio, Vincent (Morgan) Mucurio, Anthony (Catherine) Mucurio, Jennifer (Jose) Soto, David Siriano, Christopher (Karissa) Siriano, Joshua Hemmingway, Stacy Mastrosimone, Michael (Melissa) Olsen and Nicole Olsen. She also leaves behind 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandsons. She is also survived by her brother Eugene Wagner of Irving, Texas. Her brother, Floyd Jr. preceded her in death as a child.
The funeral will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM for family and friends at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, 599 N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach, Florida.
