Donald Marra
age 93 of Boynton Beach passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his summer home in North Carolina. Don was the beloved husband of Elizabeth “Dolly” Marra for 74 years and loving father of Anna Marra Noe. He is also survived by his niece, Frances Morobitto and many more nieces and nephews. Don was born on July 12, 1925 in Niagara Falls, New York and was a World War II Veteran serving with the Army Corp of Engineers in the European theatre. After moving to Florida in 1952, Don founded and operated South Florida Crane Service. He was also a Founding Board Member of the George Snow Foundation, Past President of FABA and a member of the Delray Beach Elks Lodge #1770.
A Prayer Service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. A Committal Service and entombment will follow at the Boynton Beach Mausoleum. Those who wish may make donations to the George Snow Scholarship Fund in Don’s memory.
