DONALD ?Don? JENSEN 77 of Boynton Beach and Long Branch, New Jersey passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013. Don was born in Staten Island, New York in 1935 and proudly served as a U.S. Marine in the Korean Conflict. In October of 1962, Don married Lucy C. Mahoney and they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in October of 2012. He was a member (usher) of St. Michael?s Catholic Church in West End, NJ and St. Mark Catholic Church in Boynton Beach. Don was the owner of a Coca-Cola Distributorship in New Jersey and worked for Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport, NJ following his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Lucy; son, Mark Jensen; daughter, Laura Jensen Wahl; grandson, Connor; granddaughter, Reilly; brothers, Kenneth, Dennis & Melvin; and sisters, Joyce & Faith. Friends will be received Monday, February 18, 2013 from 11 AM ? 1:00 PM at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. A Funeral Mass will follow and be celebrated at 1:30 PM at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place, Boynton Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407 in Don?s memory.
