It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Marie DeRobbio, who left this world on April 5, 2025, at the age of 66. Diane was born on December 27, 1958, in Providence, Rhode Island, to her loving parents, Sabatino DeRobbio and Josephine (Rotondo) DeRobbio, who preceded her in death. Diane's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Diane was a vibrant spirit, full of life and love. She graduated from high school, embarking on a journey that would see her embrace a variety of roles throughout her career. Her passion for creativity and connection was evident in her work as a hairdresser, where she brought beauty to her clients lives. From 1988 to 1993, Diane proudly owned her own restaurant, Diana's LaCucina in Johnston, RI, where she shared her love of food and hospitality with all who entered. Later she moved to Boyton Beach, Florida, where she explored a multitude of jobs, including bartending, healthcare and sales. Always ready to lend a hand to those in need.

Diane was not just defined by her work, she was a dedicated sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was survived by her sister Deborah Scipione and brother-in-law Steve Hamel. Her brother Richard DeRobbio, and sister-in-law Donna Santagata-DeRobbio..Her cherished niece, Krystal Fry of Florida and Sammy DeRobbio of Oregon, as well as many cousins and friends who will forever treasure their memories of her.

A woman of unique passions, Diane's favorite holiday was Halloween. She delighted in decorating her property extravagantly, often winning contests for the best Halloween decorations in her city. This playful spirit, combined with her thoughtful and warm nature, made her a beloved figure in her community.

Diane's legacy is not just in her professional achievements, but in the hearts of those she touched. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and readiness to help others will be remembered fondly. She leaves behind a world that is a little brighter for having known her.

As we bid farewell to Diane, we celebrate her life and honor the many beautiful memories we shared. A life well-lived, Diane Marie DeRobbio will forever remain in our hearts.
